Philip   Fiander
Fiander Philip 68 of Goodsoil formerly of Ramea NL , passed away peacefully at home on October 1st, 2017.
Born in Engish Habour West NL ,on Oct 29th 1948. He was the son of late of Sameul and Mary Fiander . Philip was a member of Lions Club in Ramea for many year. He was a carpenter by trade working in fish plant for many years.
He moved to Goodsoil Saskatchewan 2005 to be closer to his sister Thelma. He survived by his wife of 10 years Leonie (Brunet) Fiander ,Son Mark (Tracy) Fiander Wawanesa MB., daughter Kimberly(Shawn) Russell ,Springhill NS. Joshua Fiander, Randy Russell,Nathan Fiander and Drake Fiander. Step-children Angel (Ed) Lange Goodsoil Sask., Rita (Philip) Roger Goodsoil Sask.,Pauline(Roger) Boone Bishop Falls NL Louise (Dale) Neuls Fort St John BC , Edward(Barbara) Brunet Goodsoil Sask.Daniel(Becky) Brunet Goodsoil Sask. ,Nicole (Dale) Minish Lloydminister Sask. Wendy (Flynn) Brost Beaumont Alberta , Also numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister Rita Preston Winnipeg MB. Rowena Kendall Lewisporte NL. Sister-in-law Mary Fiander Ramea NL. Brother-in-law Leslie Fudge and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 1st wife of 23 years Georgina Bessie (Lafosse) Fiander, Sister Thelma Rowsell , Sister Janet Macdonald. Brother Sam Fiander, Sister-in-law Carol Lafrosse),Fudge,Brother and sister-in-law Hartley and Lucy Lafosse , Brother-in-laws Leonard Kendall, John Rowsell,Frank Preston and Rick Markham,Nephews Doug Rowell and Craig Kendall.
We would like to thank the doctor in Saskatoon and Meadow Lake for the care he received over the past years.
As per requested cremation has taken place. His ashes will be taken to Ramea NL at a later date for burial. Donations can be made to cancer society or charity of your choice.
