Condolences

Condolence From: Sandy MacKay
Condolence: I am devastated… that I find out only now. Rick my old and dear brother, I am devastated to hear of your passing. Rick and I were the best of friends when he worked with me in Fox Creek, and continued to stay in touch until sometime in mid 2015 after I retired from Chevron. Rick and I conversed often on his choice of Harley as only he and I could. I still own and wear a few of the t-shirts you gave me after you returned from working in the US just before I transferred to Nova Scotia in 2001. I will miss our long talks about horsepower and torque. Rest In Peace My Brother…. With great respect…. Your buddy ‘Scully’

Condolence: Rick always had a smile and time for you. His stories were interesting and he always had something interesting to say. He was a great guy - someone you could count on and whose word was his bond. His family and friends have lost a man with integrity, loyalty, and commitment. He was a steadfast son, friend, employee, and human being. Until we meet again... rest easy big guy.

Condolence: Though we all have the same destination in this world, we all have our own path to take. There are straight aways, curves and even potholes along the way. What should be remembered is not the end of the path but how the road was ridden, and you rode it well, Rick. Rest easy.

Condolence: Fond memories of Men's Night Curling and Oilmen's Bonspiel in Fox Creek. Rick loved his Harley. We kept in touch over the years as each of us moved on in our careers. Too soon.

Condolence: We were so very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. John & he met in Camrose when they were work mates. Richard was always so friendly and loved a good get together. We lost track of him over the years, but always considered him a friend. We send our sincere sympathies to his family and friends. He was one of a kind.
